Start with your essential accounts, think:

  4. Next, set up email forwarding in your old account, so any new emails automatically go to your new Gmail inbox. 

  5. For example, in Virgin Media Mail
    Open the email you want to forward, select the forward option, and enter your new Gmail and tap Send.

  6. Export your contacts from your old account to avoid losing anyone important. 

  7. Send a quick message to your key contacts letting them know you’ve switched to a new email address.
