The Real Housewives Of Cheshire
Watch it on ITV/HD (CH 103/113)
The Real Housewives franchise is a tried-and-tested formula, from several gegographic locations, that viewers lap up as their not-so-guilty guilty pleasure watch.
This was the first British spin-off, focusing on wealthy residents of the “Golden Triangle” of Cheshire, which many-a famous face (and footballer) has called home. As the housewives keep up appearances and fully packed social schedules, a cat fight is always just within reach.
The Only Way Is Essex
Watch it on ITV/HD (CH 103/113)
If you thought you knew Essex, think again. Real-life locals, based in Brentwood, England, take part in this outrageously over-the-top reality show. Love lives, rifts and good old-fashioned bust-ups are exposed in all their glory across nail bars, nightclubs and salons.
Ibiza Weekender
Watch it on ITV2/HD (CH 115/176)
If you can’t actually have a weekend away in Ibiza, this show is the next best thing. A group of 18-24-year-olds travel to a hotel resort on the Spanish island for a holiday they won’t forget, all captured on film by fixed-rig cameras. A group of reps are on hand to help the tourists (and themselves) have as much fun in the sun as humanly possible.
Made In Chelsea
Watch it on Channel 4/HD (CH 104/141)
SW3 is the only postcode in London you need to know, according to this long-running, BAFTA-winning show. Anybody who’s anybody resides and socialises in the areas of Belgravia, Knightsbridge and Chelsea’s King’s Road.
Follow the elite social group, made up of the likes of Jamie Laing, Louise Thompson, Sophie “Habbs” Habboo, Olivia Bentley, Sam Thompson and Alex Mytton. For the upcoming 19th series, fans can get excited about best pals Alexandra “Binky” Felstead and Ollie Locke re-joining the show.
Just Tattoo Of Us
Watch it on MTV/HD (CH 134)
Would you trust your friends, family or partner to design a tattoo for you? Yeah, us neither. Charlotte Crosby and Stephen Bear host, as pairs enter a London-based tattoo parlour, putting all their trust in each other to choose the ink they’re unknowingly committing to. Results are only revealed at the end – with reactions ranging from sweet to downright disastrous.
RuPaul’s Drag Race
Watch it on MTV/HD (CH 134)
RuPaul’s Drag Race first aired in 2009, with drag queens serving fierce catwalk looks and sassy one-liners in the hopes of being crowned Drag Race Superstar. Since then, countries including Thailand, Chile and the UK have followed suit with their own versions of the show, with a Canadian edition in the works.
Not only do the queens have to lip sync for their lives, but they have to be all-rounders in sewing, acting, modelling AND comedy! You’ll be fixated.
90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days
Watch it on TLC/HD (CH 167)
Before The 90 Days acts as a “prequel” to 90 Day Fiancé, charting international couples’ journeys, from their initial meeting to applying for the K-1 visa. This is available to American citizens who want to bring their fiancé/fiancée to the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Once it’s approved, the couple has 90 days to get married. If they don’t make it down the aisle in time, the non-native partner must return to their home country. Trust us – it makes for truly addictive viewing.
Say Yes To The Dress
Watch it on TLC/HD (CH 167)
New York City’s Kleinfeld Bridal is the destination for brides-to-be. It’s stocked with heavenly dresses, catering to every personal taste, preference and sense of style. Hosted by wedding dress designer Randy Fenoli, the aim of the series is for everyone to leave the store having said “yes” to the perfect dress for them.
Don’t be surprised when you start welling up – there are plenty of dressing room dilemmas and personal anecdotes that will hit you right in the feels. In case you needed more convincing, here’s why you should Say Yes To The Dress.
Botched
Watch it on E!/HD (CH 140/139)
Doctors Terry Dubrow and Paul Nassif work their magic to mend plastic surgery wrongs. Name any mishap and they’ve probably seen it – and fixed it. Whether it’s amending infected lip implants to the more extreme – including a woman whose face was injected with cement – the results truly are life-changing for the patients.
Revenge Body With Khloé Kardashian
Watch it on E!/HD (CH 140/139)
After Khloé’ Kardashian’s marriage to Lamar Odom didn’t work out, she started to work out as a way to deal with everything. A revenge body tends to refer to someone exercising to lose weight or to tone up as a way to make their ex see what they’re missing.
Khloé’s best revenge, however, was loving herself on the inside and the outside, and ultimately, living her best life. Each episode of this series helps two people do the same, with the help of Hollywood’s best trainers and glam squads.
Keeping Up With The Kardashians
Watch it on E!/HD (CH 140/139)
We’ve been trying to keep up with them for 18 seasons across 13 years, but the Kardashian-Jenner clan’s glamorous personal and professional lives run at a million miles a minute. There’s no lack of drama and entertainment in one of the longest-running US cable television series – clearly people can’t get enough!
So Cosmo
Watch it on E!/HD (CH 140/139)
Cosmopolitan, whether it’s the drink that was Sex And The City’s Carrie’s go-to, or the iconic magazine, its name precedes it. This docu-series follows the American edition’s staff in this behind-the-scenes look at a fabulous and fast-paced – but stressful – lifestyle and job.
