Staying in-in with Rylan Clark-Neal

Staying in-in with Rylan Clark-Neal

The presenter with panache tells us all about his telly-viewing habits in our exclusive video interview

Beyoncé, Britney, Björk – when you become a household name with just your first name, you know you’ve made it. We caught up with one such person to learn all about his TV habits

Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards 2019

Presenter Rylan Clark-Neal came fifth on The X Factor in 2012, was runner-up on Signed By Katie Price in 2011, and in 2013, he claimed the top spot on Celebrity Big Brother. But he’s been winning over the nation’s hearts since day one. His effervescent personality, gleaming smile and immense star power have seen him secure presenting gigs on This Morning, The Xtra Factor, Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and his own show, Up Late With Rylan. He even met his husband in telly land; interviewing the former police officer following his eviction from the Big Brother house.

As someone who has dominated our television screens for so long, there’s no one better placed to give us their top telly picks and watching rituals. His house is even something of a staying in-in palace – glittery walls, a velvet sofa, a giant stuffed teddy bear and a Big Brother-style diary room, complete with one of the actual chairs from the show. Check out our exclusive video interview below, where we snuggle up to Rylan on the sofa (jealous much?) and get the lowdown on what makes the best telly-watching experience.
