With the absolute greatest of respect, lettings agents deserve to be roasted at every opportunity. For everyone who’s ever been stung by an admin fee that’s as pointless as it is pricey, thank goodness Stath Lets Flats is back on our screens for a new series.
This BAFTA-nominated sitcom (Best Scripted Comedy, Best Male Comedy Performance) will see us reacquainted with co-creator Jamie Demetriou (Fleabag), who plays the staggeringly stupid lettings agent, for a whole new batch of disastrous property viewings and interpersonal mishaps.
Worst. Birthday. Party. Ever.
When we left Stath at the end of series 1, his dreams of becoming a manager within the family business were dealt a blow when his own father denied him his big break. Ouch. And things aren’t about to get any better for him in these six new episodes either, as rival Julian (Dustin Demri-Burns, GameFace) takes the firm’s reins and climbs the corporate ladder.
Elsewhere, sister Sophie (What We Do In The Shadows’ Natasia Demetriou) is looking for a new challenge after failing at dance college, while Carole (Katy Wix, Ghosts) remains as driven as ever. And just next door, rival company Smethwicks continues to pose a threat…
