The STV Player is bursting with unmissable entertainment for everyone, and there’s even more to enjoy this November with the arrival of crime drama Box Set Detective McLean. And guess what? It’s exclusive to Virgin TV customers for two months from Tuesday 3 November!

This US-Canadian series stars Kelli Williams (Lie To Me) as Allison McLean, a police officer who balances life at home with her day job busting crooks on the streets of Seattle. But when Allison’s brother Tim (Luke Perry) is jailed, she decides to take in his teenage kids – which means things get a lot more stressful around the house.

Part police procedural, part family drama, Detective McLean is the latest addition to the brilliant STV Player app – and Virgin TV customers can watch it exclusively until Sunday 3 January.
