The big LEGO movie numbers!

The big LEGO movie numbers!

As The LEGO Movie 2 hits the big screen, watch the previous films and specials with Sky Cinema’s LEGO collection

Everything is awesome! Because the wonderful world of LEGO reigns supreme at the box office…

The LEGO collection, available in Sky Cinema on demand and on Sky Cinema Family/HD (CH 436/406) from Friday 8 February until Sunday 17 February

Films based on toys haven’t always been the biggest hits. For every Transformers (and their subsequent sequels) there’s a Battleship – a $209 million movie based on a game where you insert pegs into a board. What’s worse, no one in the movie said “you sunk my battleship”.

We say all this because we know how successful the LEGO movies have been. And the original The LEGO Movie isn’t just brilliant (thanks largely to some superb writing from co-directors Phil Lord and Christopher Miller), it’s genuinely one of the greatest animated films ever!

With the sequel hitting the big screen on Friday 8 February, now is the perfect time to watch the original all over again. And Sky Cinema has got you covered with its LEGO collection. Not only will you be able to catch Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell and Elizabeth Banks in the first one, you’ll also be able to see The LEGO Batman Movie (starring Will Arnett) and The LEGO NINJAGO Movie (starring Jackie Chan).

What’s more, there’s a host of other brick-tacular LEGO specials in the collection, featuring the likes of the Justice League, Scooby-Doo and more! So, block off some time as we break down the big numbers on LEGO movies…
