The Hurricane Heist will blow you away!

The Hurricane Heist will blow you away!

Batten down the hatches for the latest Sky Cinema Original Film

Hold on to your hat – and your everything else – for this white-knuckle action thriller

The Hurricane Heist, available from Friday 6 April in Sky Cinema on demand. Cert 12. Also available in HD

When a devastating hurricane hits the US’s Gulf Coast, meteorologist Will (Kong: Skull Island’s Toby Kebbell) goes all Twister and tries his darnedest to keep track of the freak storm.

He’s soon battered by the wind and rain – but doing up the zip on his anorak is the least of his troubles.

Why? Because a group of criminal hackers are planning to use the turbulence as cover to steal $600m from a nearby US Treasury facility. As the weather wreaks havoc, Will finds himself teaming up with his ex-Marine brother (True Blood’s Ryan Kwanten) and a Treasury agent (Taken’s Maggie Grace) to foil the would-be robbers.

Directed by action specialist Rob Cohen (The Fast And The FuriousxXx) and packed full of nail-biting thrills and jaw-dropping special effects, The Hurricane Heist is the second Sky Cinema Original Film to hit the telly the same day it’s released in cinemas (you can find the first – animated comedy Monster Family – in Sky Cinema on demand right now). Are you ready to face down the storm?
