Ahh, it’s that time of the week again, where, like a sporty DJ, we present a juicy playlist of some of the best games on BT Sport for your listening (and viewing!) pleasure.

And what a week it is, with teams across the globe and others closer to home battling it out for sporting glory. So, without further ado, put your hands in the air and make some noise, because when we say BT, you say Sport! BT… BT… Ahh, fine, we’ll just get on with it.

SPFL: Kilmarnock v Hearts

Friday 1 February, 7.15pm, BT Sport 1 HD (CH 527)

This match-up needs no introduction. But for those of you who – for whatever reason – haven’t been fastidiously following respective journeys of Kilmarnock and Hearts, both sides have, incredibly, topped the standings this season. As a result, each will be looking to return to the top again, with a win over a fellow title contender a good opportunity to do so. Rangers and Celtic will be watching this one keenly…

Bundesliga: Hannover v Red Bull Leipzig

Timo Werner playing for Red Bull Leipzig

Friday 1 February, 7.15pm, BT Sport 2 HD (CH 528)

We might not know everything there is to know in the world, but we think it’s safe to say that Leipzig forward Timo Werner has, without question, “been on a mad one” this season. His imperious goalscoring ability has fired Leipzig into Champions League contention, and he could definitely bag a few against a Hannover side embroiled in a relegation fight – watch this space.

Australia v Sri Lanka Second Test

Friday 1 February, 11.15pm, BT Sport 1 HD (CH 527)

What better way to put the controversy of last year behind them than to knock Sri Lanka into next month with a convincing, no-holds-barred performance on home soil? As brilliant as that would be for the Aussies, write off Sri Lanka at your peril. They’ve been known to throw and bowl up a shock or two, and there’s every chance they could do so again as the two sides head into the second and final test of the series at Canberra’s Manuka Oval.

Premier League: Cardiff City v AFC Bournemouth

Neil Warnock managing Cardiff City FC

Saturday 2 February, 5pm, BT Sport 1 HD (CH 527)

Frequently put forward as relegation favourites by fans across the land at the start of the season, Neil Warnock’s Cardiff City side have, well, not done much to disprove those predictions. A visit from Eddie Howe’s aspirational Bournemouth will be another tough test, with the Cherries looking to return to the coast with all three points and keep their dwindling hopes of a place in Europe alive.

A-League: Sydney FC v Melbourne City

Sunday 3 February, 6am, BT Sport ESPN HD (CH 530)

This here is one ripper of a game! Though both sides have a common enemy in Melbourne Victory, there won’t be any love lost when Sydney lock horns with a Melbourne City side looking to get one over on last season’s champions. Add to the mix their close proximity in this season’s standings, and this is shaping up to be a must-watch encounter between two of the league’s title contenders.

Gallagher Premiership: Worcester Warriors v Wasps

Sunday 3 February, 2.45pm, BT Sport 1 HD (CH 527)

Like a pesky bug hovering around an open bottle of Worcestershire sauce, Wasps have been languishing tantalisingly close to the table’s top four for a number of weeks. As such, an opportunity beckons to leapfrog a few teams above them as they head to Sixways Stadium to take on a Worcester side hoping to avoid the drop down to the Championship.
