This summer’s tournament in Russia is just around the corner, so who should start England’s first match?
From Saturday 2 June, 5.15pm, ITV/HD (CH 103/113)
Decisions, decisions, decisions. England manager Gareth Southgate has lots of them to make before the World Cup kicks off, and the biggest one of all is his starting line-up for the team’s opening game against Tunisia on 18 June.

There’s not long left before the big summer tournament kicks off, so it’s time to decide – who should start in goal? Who will get the nod at the back and in midfield? And what about the strikers hoping to fire the Three Lions to glory (or at least the last 16)?
With Harry Kane confirmed as captain, we present our pick of the players – from Jordan Pickford and Dele Alli to Eric Dier and Raheem Sterling – who should definitely start England’s first match in Russia. Click/hover on the stars to find out more...
