Full House TV sports round-up

We’re all for living a balanced life. So while we fully encourage you to get outside, inhale the fresh air and lob a snowball or two, we also wholly endorse settling down in the warmth to binge on all the world-class sport you get with Full House TV.

And that includes this fantastic feast of action…

1. Bath v Wasps

Friday 29 December, 7pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

After a so-so start to the Aviva Premiership season, both of these massive clubs will be looking to kick-start their play-off charges with a win on Friday night. On paper, last season’s runners-up Wasps appear to have the stronger squad, but Bath easily dispatched their opponents in October’s reverse fixture and can call on British & Irish Lions Taulupe Faletau, Jonathan Joseph and Anthony Watson.

2. Manchester United v Southampton

Saturday 30 December, 5pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

José Mourinho’s all-powerful Manchester United team against mid-table Southampton in the Premier League – this has got comfortable home win written all over it, right? Wrong. Sure, the Saints may not possess the firepower of Lukaku, Ibrahimović and Rashford, but their record over their last four league games at Old Trafford reads: won two, drawn one, lost one. In other words, shuffle on to the edge of your seat, because a festive shock could be on the cards.

3. William Hill World Darts Championship

Saturday 30 December, 7pm, Sky Sports Mix/HD (CH 520/510)

Don your fancy dress, wave your home-made banners and scream “ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHTY!” because Saturday’s William Hill World Darts Championship semi-finals are live on Sky Sports Mix. Will the pressure of being two victories away from lifting the trophy (and taking home the £400,000 winner’s cheque) cause the contenders to misthrow, or will the trebles and doubles continue to rain down? The way to find out is by watching the action live!

Ski Jumping World Cup Oberstdorf

4. Ski Jumping World Cup Oberstdorf

Saturday 30 December, 3.30pm, Eurosport 2/HD (CH 524/522)

Imagine a sport where you have to propel yourself down a steeply angled ramp at a speed of over 50mph and then attempt to fly as far as you possibly can before landing as elegantly as you possibly can. Actually, don’t imagine it. Tune in this Saturday afternoon to watch the world’s elite male ski jumpers do all of the above in the men’s Individual Large Hill Final at the spectacular Oberstdorf Ski Jumping World Cup meeting.

5. NFL RedZone

Sunday 31 December, 6pm, Sky Sports Mix/HD (CH 520/510)

Say hello to the best sports programme you’ve probably never heard of. In addition to covering all the week’s biggest American football stories and keeping you up-to-date with the day’s scores and results, RedZone shows every single touchdown from the NFL’s latest round of games. Watch, enjoy and marvel at the players’ strength, speed and athletic capabilities, but whatever you do… DO NOT try the celebrations at home.

6. Alpine Skiing World Cup

From Thursday 28 December, 9.30am, Eurosport 2/HD (CH 524/522)

Prefer your skis to stay on the ground? Then prepare to get those cowbells ringing, because this week you can catch all the drama of the Downhill and Alpine Combined events from the men’s Alpine Skiing World Cup meeting in Bormio, Italy, AND the Giant Slalom and Slalom from the women’s event in Lienz, Austria.
