What is Flex?

Flex is our super-flexible TV option that’s supported by our smartest, slimmest Ultra HD TV box yet. It’s loaded with all your favourite starter channels and streaming apps, and you can add subscriptions like Netflix, TNT Sports and Sky Cinema HD whenever you like. 

The whole point of Flex is to keep things, well, flexible. So, you’ll find all your channels and entertainment apps in one place, regardless of whether they’re free or paid-for. That means you don’t have to spend ages hopping between platforms or hunting for what to watch; just search once and stream away.

The best bit? We’ll give you 10% credit back on any full-price subscriptions you add to Flex and pay for through your Virgin Media bill, so you pocket a little saving each month. 

Flex doesn’t stop there either. You’ll also get personalised recommendations for what to watch across all your entertainment subscriptions and because we like to keep things flexible (naturally!), you can add stuff in, swap it out and cancel or uncancel your subs every month.

Here’s what you can expect from Flex:

Flex is super simple to get started with. Once you get your Stream box, just plug it into your TV and you’re good to go – no engineer visits needed. Flex is on a 30-day contract too, so you can add extra streaming services to your subscription stop or start services each month.

With Flex, you can access all your favourite streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, Prime Video, BBC iPlayer, ITVX, and more – all through one box. There’s no need to keep switching between devices or remote controls. Everything’s right there on your TV screen.

You don’t need to miss out on live TV! Flex gives you access to over 150 free channels, including Freeview favourites like BBC, ITV, Channel 4, and Channel 5 and you can also catch up on shows you’ve missed, right from the same menu. Easy, peasy!

Want Sky Sports for your premier league fix? Or want to cosy up and binge watch your favorite series on Netflix? With Flex, you can add premium TV channels and streaming services on rolling 30-day contracts, so you can pick and mix your entertainment and stay in control of what you pay for.

Our Stream box is loaded with a range of smart features – from Profiles and personal recommendations to My Watchlist and so much more. Just say the name of a show or actor and we’ll help you find it fast. The interface is smart and easy to use too, and it learns what you like, giving you recommendations based on what you watch.

What channels do you get with Flex?

Flex gives you access to over 150 channels on the Stream box, including Sky Mix, True Crime, Film4, Sky News, Really and U&Dave as standard. You'll have access to Catch Up and On Demand TV too – from BBC iPlayer and BBC Sounds to ITVX, Channel 4, U and YouTube. 

There are also plenty of premium TV channels to add whenever you like, from Sky Sports HD and Sky Cinema HD to TNT Sports and Kids Pick (which covers Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network channels).

How do you manage subscriptions on Flex?

Flex makes managing your subscriptions a breeze. You can add or remove favourite paid-for subscriptions and channel packs from our Stream box by going to the Subscriptions App or by managing your subscriptions in your My Virgin Media account.

Just plug the Stream box into your TV and pick and mix your favourite subscription services along with all the TV channels and apps you can’t live without.

Can I get Flex on multiple devices?

Flex doesn’t stop when you’re out and about! You can keep up and catch up with top telly through the Virgin Media TV Go app, just as you would with any other of our TV services.

Subscribed to Sky Sports? Then dive into the action on the Sky Sports app. More into streaming TV? You can enjoy your Netflix or Disney+ subscription through their apps on the Stream box, too!

Flex is available as add-on to any of our lightning-fast broadband packages – whether you go for a broadband-only or broadband and home phone package.
