What’s new in your January channel guide

From Wednesday 31 December, MTV is closing five of its music channels in the UK, meaning MTV Music, MTV Live HD, Club MTV, MTV 90s and MTV 80s are leaving the service. Please note, MTV HD (CH 134) is not affected by the closures, so you’ll still be able to catch your favourite reality shows like Geordie Shore and Naked Dating UK (depending on your TV package).

Also on Wednesday 31 December, kids channel POP and shopping channel High Street TV HD will also stop broadcasting, so you will not be able to access these channels after this date.

If you're using our Virgin TV V6 box (powered by TiVo®) then from Friday 12 December you will only be able to access Pluto content through their TV app. You can find out more about the brilliant Pluto TV app here.

From Tuesday 11 November, customers with our Stream box, Virgin TV 360 or our Virgin TV V6 box (powered by TiVo®) can watch Inside Outside (CH 231), your new themed streaming channel dedicated to food, homes and gardens at no extra cost. It replaces Great British Menu.

On Friday 3 October, Gems TV turned into Gemporia (CH 755). But don't worry, Gemporia will continue shine just as brightly and bring you all the same great shows and products you love.

Please note, if you watch TV on our TiVo® box, you will not be able to access our themed channels. But it’s super easy to upgrade to our latest Virgin TV box.
