Aliens are taking over Cartoon Network+1!

Prepare for intergalactic action, as the Ben 10 takeover gets underway

The shape-shifting, super-powered, watch-wearing ten-year-old is taking over Cartoon Network+1…

Ben 10 takeover, from Sunday 1 to Tuesday 10 July, Cartoon Network+1 (CH 705)

As each and every second of Ben 10 has your children punching the air and begging you to find them an Omnitrix to call their own, you’d be forgiven for investing in some earplugs over the next few days. But if you don’t know your Heatblast from your Brainfrog, fear not, we’re on hand to give you a crash course in all things alien so that you can enjoy (or at least understand) the action.

Put simply, after discovering a mysterious alien watch known as the Omnitrix while on holiday, ten-year-old Ben Tennyson finds he can shapeshift into powerful alien forms. As cool as this sounds (even to us), it comes at a price, as Ben must use his newfound powers to defend Earth from a multitude of intergalactic villains.

Still scratching your head? Well, with all four original series, Ben 10: Ultimate Challenge, and a trio of animated films (The Secret Of The Omnitrix, Destroy All Aliens and Race Against Time) available to watch on Cartoon Network+1, and as catch-up Box Sets, there’s no shortage of interplanetary shenanigans to sink your teeth into.

In Secrets of the Omnitrix, Ben finds himself fighting to save his extraterrestrial tech after accidentally activating its self-destruct protocol. Destroy All Aliens, meanwhile, sees Ben like never before, with an error in the Omnitrix trapping him in all his alien forms! Then, if you’re still gasping for more, tune in for Ben 10’s first ever live-action adventure, Race Against Time, in which Ben faces off against a shadowy figure intent on bringing Bellwood to its knees.
