Third time (un)lucky!

Third time (un)lucky!

Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson return to the murder mystery franchise in Dial M For Middlesbrough on GOLD

Good things come in threes…

Saturday 14 December, 9.15pm, GOLD HD (CH 124). Also available for 30 days in Catch Up > Channels > GOLD

GOLD’s murder mystery comedy franchise is back for a third series. Following the popular television films Murder On The Blackpool Express (the most watched show ever on the channel) and Death On The Tyne, the next instalment has an equally brilliant tongue-in-cheek name: get ready for Dial M For Middlesbrough.

Johnny Vegas and Sian Gibson return as reluctant coach driver Terry and bubbly tour guide Gemma of Draper’s Tours. They’re on their way to collect Mildred (Sheila Reid, Murder On The Blackpool Express) and Hilda (Georgie Glen, Death On The Tyne), with a view to taking them to a funeral in Middlesbrough. But the weather has other plans – a thunderstorm hits and the coach breaks down, forcing the pair to seek shelter in an eerie caravan park called Shady Creek…

Caravan parks are pretty scary places in their own right, but when you add murder into the mix, they’re downright lethal! Especially when “You will die tonight” is painted in blood-red letters on the side of one of the caravans…

To make matters worse, the park’s inhabitants are slowly being picked off one by one, and a torrential downpour is blocking the roads. But who is the culprit? Find out more about the latest entry in the series by clicking/hovering on the phone buttons below
