Three huge dramas back for season 3!

QuanticoShades Of Blue and Versailles are all returning to the box

We’ve got three reasons why your evenings are about to get a lot more intense

Returning shows round-up

Can’t get enough Quantico? Shouting out for more Shades Of Blue? Visibly drooling at the thought of Versailles? Then this could well be the greatest day of your life, because all these dazzlingly brilliant dramas are making a triumphant return to your screen this month! And trust us, these shows are really worth fussing over.

Yes, three really is the magic number when it comes to huge returning series on Virgin TV, and you can find out more below…

1. Quantico

Quantico

Thursday 7 June, 9pm, alibi/HD (CH 126/200). Also available for 7 days in Catch Up > Channels > alibi. Find seasons 1-2 in On Demand > Box Sets > ABC Studios

Heart-pounding thrills are guaranteed in this US drama about an ex-FBI recruit (played by Indian megastar Priyanka Chopra) who goes on the run after being linked to a devastating terrorist attack. Fans can expect to chew their nails even more intensely throughout season 3, but that’s all we’re going to say for now. Why? Because if you’ve not seen the show and have the Full House TV pack, you can watch the first two seasons in On Demand!

2. Shades Of Blue

Shades Of Blue

Coming to Sky Living/HD (CH 112/111) this June. Find seasons 1-2 in On Demand > Box Sets

Talk about a bittersweet return. Seeing this award-winning crime drama back on the box would usually have us reaching for the party streamers (and cake). However, this is the final season of the fantastic Shades Of Blue, so savour it while you can. No idea what it’s about? Jennifer Lopez stars as Detective Harlee Santos, an NYPD officer who doesn’t exactly do things by the book. It co-stars Ray Liotta (GoodFellas) and Drea De Matteo (The Sopranos), and you can check out the first two seasons in On Demand. And we’re having cake anyway.

3. Versailles

Versailles

Mondays from 4 June, 9pm, BBC Two/HD (CH 102/162). Also available for 30 days in Catch Up > Channels > BBC iPlayer, where you’ll also find series 1-2

There is a new woman in lusty Louis’ life in this third and final series from the racy period drama. After his victory over the rebellious Dutch, expect to see King Louis XIV – played by George Blagden (Vikings) – achieve absolute power in this series, before the Sun King sets for good. And if you need a refresher of the magnificent monarch’s previous antics, catch series 1 and 2 on BBC iPlayer.
