In addition to Valentine’s Day, did you know that Groundhog Day and World Nutella Day also fall in the month of February?

 

A month in which the days seems to endlessly repeat while the walls and floors grow sticky with smears of chocolate… That’s just every month with kids, isn’t it?
 


Thankfully, your all-singing, all-dancing telly box has hundreds of the best kids’ TV programmes available to help keep the mess-makers entertained this half-term.

 

On Thursday 15 February from 6am to 9pm, head for Virgin TV Kids (CH 700) to find back-to-back episodes of Dora, PAW Patrol, Rubble And Crew and Blaze And The Monster Machines as part of a special Nick Jr. Showcase. That’s a whole lot of top kids’ TV – and at no extra cost!

 

On Demand > Kids (depending on your TV package) boasts hundreds of new episodes from plenty of their favourite shows, plus Box Sets they can watch again and again. And because these programmes are in On Demand, they can watch them whenever they want. But better than that: they can watch them whenever you want.

 

Your TV box also has a fantastic range of live channels including the recently launched Sky Kids (CH 707, also available on demand). There’s also CBBC HD (CH 701), CBeebies HD (CH 702) and, depending on your package, Cartoon Network HD (CH 704), Nickelodeon HD (CH 712), Cartoonito (CH 706), Boomerang (CH 730) and Nicktoons (CH 717), to name just a few.

 

And don’t forget, when you’re out and About, the Virgin TV Go app allows you to take all your kids’ entertainment with you. That means they’ll have access to the programmes they love, no matter where you are, or what traffic jam or rail replacement service you end up in.

Batwheels

Batwheels revolves around a gang of talking vehicles called Bam, Redbird, Bibi, Batwing and Buff, who learn important lessons about teamwork, friendship and more while helping Batman, Robin and Batgirl in their various missions.

 

Dora

Join plucky adventurer Dora and her red-booted monkey mate – the aptly named Boots – as they travel the world on expeditions as educational as they are fun!

 

Rock Paper Scissors

Find it on Nickelodeon HD (CH 712) from Monday 19 February

Living situations don’t get wackier than this. A rock, sheet of paper and pair of scissors navigate life as roommates, managing to somehow always get along despite their differences.

 

Tom And Jerry: Willy Wonka And The Chocolate Factory

Find it on Boomerang (CH 730) from Saturday 10 February

The legendary cat-and-mouse duo in an adventure inspired by Roald Dahl’s legendary tale? Yes please! Tom and Jerry join Charlie Bucket for a tour of the famous factory, leading to all manner of mayhem.

 

Nickelodeon Slimetime UK

Find out everything you ever wanted to know about American football – with added slime! Enjoy exclusive interviews with the stars of the game and fun challenges, all washed down with a healthy dose of Nickelodeon’s trademark goop.

 

Teen Titans Go!

Find it on Cartoon Network HD (CH 704)  from Monday 5 February

DC’s team of crime-fighting teens get their own fly-kicking, villain-thwacking animated show that will genuinely have you chuckling along with your little ones.

 

Danger Force

Find it on Nickelodeon HD (CH 712) and in On Demand now

A spin-off from the long-running, much-loved Henry Danger, Nickelodeon’s Danger Force sees four new young heroes start their training at Swellview Academy for the Gifted.

 

PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups
