The Virgin Media Connect app

Partnering your Intelligent WiFi in your Hub 3 with our awesome Connect app will help banish those WiFi blackspots for good. The app scans your home, testing your WiFi signal from room to room, letting you know where you need a WiFi booster most.

It also lets you pause the WiFi on certain devices, reboot your Hub to easily fix common WiFi issues and help you get in touch with one of our friendly team members if you need extra help.

Ever suffered from a WiFi blackspot somewhere at home? With a WiFi Pod (also called a WiFi extender or WiFi booster) you won’t have to avoid those areas anymore. Our plug-in WiFi booster will connect to the Hub 3 or Hub 4 from any room and improve the signal.

Do I need a WiFi Pod if I have Intelligent WiFi?

Intelligent WiFi is designed to automatically sort out WiFi issues around your home without you needing to leave your seat. But if you have any hard to reach places in your home, Intelligent WiFi won’t be able to fix that without a WiFi range extender – that’s where our boosters come in.

Intelligent WiFi works by teaming up with your Hub 3 and Hub 4, Virgin Media Connect app and WiFi extender to improve the WiFi, throughout your home. You benefit from having a reliable signal, wherever you are and to whatever device is at hand.

What is a minimum period?

When you take any services from Virgin Media you will be committing to taking that service for a minimum amount of time (e.g., 18 months). Virgin Media call this a minimum period, minimum term or minimum commitment period but they mean the same thing. Please check your basket for details of the minimum period that applies to the services you have chosen.

What if I cancel or move home?
If you cancel during the minimum period, you may need to pay an early disconnection fee, including when you move to a property outside of the Virgin Media Network area – this is because you will be asking to cancel your services early. The Virgin Media network does not cover all of the UK – please use our postcode checker here to check availability.
