Can you ace our 2019 Six Nations quiz?

Before the latest round kicks off, test your knowledge of this year’s tournament so far

We’ve arrived at the penultimate round of the 2019 Six Nations and the tension is about to be ramped up over one epic weekend of action, live on BBC One and ITV

2019 Guinness Six Nations, continues Saturday 9 March, BBC One HD (CH 101/108) + ITV/HD (CH 103/113)

There’s still lots to play for as we head into round five of this titanic tournament, but who is ready to step up and deliver a muddy good performance when it really, really matters?

It all kicks off at magnificent Murrayfield on Saturday, where Scotland will be looking to dent Welsh hopes of a first title since 2013. With just two wins in their last 17 games against Wales, the odds are stacked against the Scots. But with a fantastic home record in this tournament and a passionate crowd behind them, Gregor Townsend’s men will fancy their chances.

England’s turn under the sporting microscope follows straight after, with Eddie Jones’ title chasers up against Italy at an expectant Twickenham. The Red Rose will see this as a chance to earn an emphatic win and pick up more bonus points on their quest for the crown. The Italians? With their Six Nations losing streak now at 20 matches, they’ll be hoping to come away with just minor wounds to lick.

Then on Sunday it’s all about Ireland, who welcome the predictably unpredictable French to Dublin. Joe Schmidt’s side can’t afford any more slip-ups if they want to retain the championship, but what version of France will turn up this week? The mercurial entertainers, or the hollow has-beens? Tune in to find out.

It’s been a fantastic tournament so far, filled with drama, talking points and memorable moments. But how much do you remember? Before this weekend’s action gets under way, play our quiz to find out how much you know about the 2019 Six Nations so far.
