The BMW PGA Championship is teeing off!

Follow all four days of drama from the historic Wentworth Club, live on Sky Sports Golf

With the US Open looming, some of golf’s top stars will be fine-tuning their game at this European Tour event

BMW PGA Championship, from Thursday 24 May, 10am, Sky Sports Golf/HD (515/505)

Surrey’s magnificent Wentworth Club is all set to host four unmissable days of golfing drama, as the European Tour continues with the BMW PGA Championship!

First held in 1955, this is a tournament that’s steeped in history. Whether it’s the calibre of former champions (Seve Ballesteros, Nick Faldo and Arnold Palmer to name but three), the ranking points on offer or the healthy winner’s cheque, it’s no wonder this is a competition all the players want to win.

But will it be a home-grown hero who triumphs this year? There are plenty of British stars in what is a fantastic field – including Rory McIlroy, Paul Casey, Danny Willett, Tommy Fleetwood and Ian Poulter. And keep an eye on young Englishman Tyrrell Hatton, the current world number 21 who is likely to excite the crowd.

Or will we see a star from elsewhere putt their way to ultimate glory? Sweden’s Alex Norén won here 12 months ago, and with global stars like Martin Kaymer, Rafa Cabrera-Bello and Francesco Molinari all competing, you can be sure to expect an intensely competitive four days of action.

So if it’s world-class golf you’re after, don’t miss the BMW PGA Championship, live and exclusive on Sky Sports Golf. It’s just one part of the fantastic summer line-up on Sky Sports – and you can find out what else is on here!
