If you’ve been waiting for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals to kick off ever since the draw was made, we don’t blame you. This season’s competition has given us four blockbuster quarter-finals that feature some of the most glittering names in European football – and the wait is almost over.
The battle for continental supremacy continues from Tuesday, with all four first legs live and exclusive on BT Sport. And for the first time since 2009, half of the quarter-final remaining sides hail from our very own Premier League. Who doesn’t love a bit of midweek drama?
Manchester City’s pursuit of an audacious quadruple continues against fellow league big-hitters Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley Stadium on Tuesday night, while Liverpool go head to head with Portuguese champions Porto at Anfield on the same evening.
Then, four of Europe’s most storied clubs will take to the stage just 24 hours later, as Manchester United welcome Lionel Messi and Barcelona to Old Trafford and Ajax face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Juventus in Amsterdam.
