Sunderland v Charlton Athletic

Saturday 4 August, 12pm, Sky Sports Football/HD (CH 513/503)

The brand-spanking new League One season kicks off with a cracker, as Sunderland host Charlton at the Stadium of Light. The Black Cats suffered a second relegation in a row last term, so they’ll be looking to claw their way back to the Sky Bet Championship in the months ahead.

 

Aberdeen v Rangers

Sunday 5 August, 12.30pm, Sky Sports Football/HD (CH 513/503)

Is Steven Gerrard the man to finally get Rangers back to the summit of Scottish football? The new Gers manager takes his side to Pittodrie Stadium to face Aberdeen in their opening match of the new Scottish Premiership season.

 

ATP Rogers Cup

Monday 6 August, 4pm, Sky Sports Arena/HD (CH 518/508)

You want tennis legends going head to head? You got it. Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal headline this prestigious tournament in Toronto, while Andy Murray will be flying the flag for the UK after being given a wildcard. Also keep an eye out for local hero Milos Raonic and defending champ Alexander Zverev.

 

Premier League Launch Show

Tuesday 7 August, 4pm, Sky Sports Premier League/HD (CH 512/502)

With 126 Premier League games live on Sky Sports this season, you’ll probably want to get bang up to speed with what to expect before the action kicks off. This show will do just that, profiling the teams and players to watch, plus there will be exclusive interviews and more. Let the countdown officially begin!

 

Caribbean Premier League

Thursday 9 August, 12.30am, Sky Sports Cricket/HD (CH 514/504)

Sky Sports are showing all 34 matches of this season’s Twenty20 tournament from the Caribbean, featuring some of cricket’s biggest hitters going head to head. It all swings into life with Dwayne Bravo’s Trinbago Knight Riders, the current champions, taking on Kieron Pollard’s St Lucia Stars.
