Got seconds to spare?

The TV series from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk (co-creators of American Horror StoryGlee and Scream Queens) and Steven Canals is about the 1980s underground ballroom scene and focuses on the African-American and Latinx LGBTQ+ experience at the height of the AIDS epidemic. Series 2 brings us into the early 1990s.

Who stars in Pose?

A six-month nationwide search was carried out to find the main cast, including the following transgender actors: Indya Moore as Angel, MJ Rodriguez as Blanca, Dominique Jackson as Elektra, Hailie Sahar as Lulu and Angelica Ross as Candy. The cast also features Billy Porter, Kate Mara and American Horror Story’s Evan Peters, as well as James Van Der Beek (Dawson’s Creek).

Are the character’s portrayals authentic in Pose?

Pose made TV history for starring the largest cast of transgender actors to ever appear as series regulars on a scripted show. Trans writers Janet Mock and Our Lady J worked on the script alongside Murphy and Falchuk, with Mock also producing and directing some of the episodes. Meanwhile, Billy Porter was the first openly gay black man to be nominated – and then win – the Emmy for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Leading Role for the show.

What happened at the end of Pose season 1?

Season 1 chose to end on a positive and uplifting note for the House of Evangelista, which is a nice change to the cliff-hangers we’ve grown accustomed to. Blanca is named “Mother of the Year” at the Princess Ball, with all of her “children” around her, celebrating.

What happens in Pose season 2?

The second season brings us into the early 1990s – and Madonna’s “Vogue” has just shot to number one in the charts. “Madonna is shining a bright spotlight on us,” Blanca says in the premiere. As voguing goes mainstream, the characters are left wondering whether they’ll benefit.

Will be there be a season 3 of Pose?
