How do I choose a TV package?

1. Assess your household’s viewing habits
Before deciding on a suitable TV package, it’s important to consider what everyone in your household likes to watch. Conducting mini-interviews can be useful if you want to understand everyone’s preferred features and channels.
Consider asking questions such as:
- What are your favourite shows, movies or live sports – and why?
- Do you watch any of those on Netflix, Amazon or YouTube?
- Do you like to watch the latest TV and movie releases as soon as they’re available?
- Do you prefer watching the TV or would you like to stream on your mobile or tablet?
- Do you want access to kids’ channels?
2. Find the most satisfying service you can
With your notes from earlier, create a shopping list of must-haves and nice-to-have features and services, for your TV package. TV boxes vary by provider, so be prepared for light research to find the right one.
