EGX and Virgin Media competition
For the past ten years, gamers the length and breadth of Britain have flocked to the UK’s largest gaming convention to hear the latest industry news, watch the hottest trailers and walkthroughs, and try their hand at the latest games. And now, after a 12-month loading screen, EGX is back!
From record-smashing AAA releases to smaller (yet equally groundbreaking) indie titles, there’s plenty of demos for the tens of thousands of visitors to get stuck into this week at Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre.
Virgin Media are bringing back their hugely popular Destiny 2 zone to EGX, featuring Bungie’s latest Destiny expansion, Destiny 2: Forsaken. Visitors can get hands on with the expansion’s Strike co-op mode and the brand new Gambit mode, plus there’s loads of Destiny loot up for grabs!
Also on offer are developer-led talks, scintillating eSports action, meet and greets with some of the hottest content creators around, and a special EGX Fringe Theatre area, which will host live podcast recordings and panel discussions. Legendary studio Bungie will also be on hand to present the revolutionary gameplay adjustments and new content on offer in Destiny 2: Forsaken.

EGX Destiny 2 PlayStation 4 and goody bag competition – Virgin Media Competition Terms and Conditions (Promotion)
1. Open to Virgin Media customers aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom except employees of Virgin Media Limited, their immediate family members and anyone professionally connected with this Promotion.
2. Destiny 2 is rated as suitable for ages 16 and over.
3. The Promotion opens on Wednesday 12 September and closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 16 September 2018. Entries received after the closing date will be invalid. Maximum of 1 entry per household.
4. To enter the Promotion you must send an email with EGX Competition in the subject line and the correct answer to the question to VirginTVEdit@virginmedia.co.uk before the closing date.
5. There will be 5 winners of the main prize. 1 prize per winner. There will also be 15 runners-up. 1 prize per runner-up.
