All Virgin TV customers can watch the UEFA Champions League final at no extra cost on Virgin TV

By Virgin TV Edit

After some dazzling domestic seasons across Europe – in the Premier League, in the Bundesliga and in La Liga, especially – all eyes now turn to London’s Wembley Stadium to deliver the final silverware of the European football season.

The UEFA Champions League final will be available to all Virgin TV customers at no extra cost in HD. Customers with a TiVo® box, a V6 box (powered by TiVo), Virgin TV 360 or Stream from Virgin Media can watch the game on a special TNT Sports pop-up channel (CH 524), on us.

If you already have a TNT Sports subscription and a V6 box, Virgin TV 360 or Stream plugged into a 4K TV, you can also watch the game in pixel-perfect, ultra-high definition on TNT Sport Ultimate (CH 531).

For only the fourth time in the past 20 seasons, the Premier League did not have a finalist in any of Europe’s top competitions. A staggering statistic, but when you look at the sides who have made it to these finals and the quality throughout their teams, it’s understandable – and it means we could be in for a classic Champions League final.

Read on for more information about the UEFA Champions League final and how you can watch it.

How to watch the UEFA Champions League final on Virgin TV

If you’d have predicted that Germany would be represented in this year’s Champions League final, few people would have guessed it would be Edin Terzić’s Borussia Dortmund. Even a couple of weeks ago, you wouldn’t have put any money on Die Schwarzgelben being just 90 minutes away from the biggest prize in European football. But after humbling PSG in the semi-finals, and especially in the second leg, they more than deserve their place here.

But what an opponent they face in Real Madrid. The most successful club in the competition’s history with a manager in Carlo Ancelotti who has won it more times than anyone else (four). The La Liga champions have been fuelled by Jude Bellingham’s stunning debut season, breaking records and making the reported transfer fee of €103 million from the club they face here seem like the bargain of the century.

It’s not quite David versus Goliath. But should BVB – who, let’s not forget, only finished fifth in the Bundesliga – conquer the Spaniards in London, it might be the biggest shock in a season full of them, and quite possibly the most significant thing the well-supported team from North Rhine-Westphalia has done since Jürgen Klopp’s era.

Watch the match live from Wembley Stadium on Saturday 1 June. For full live coverage of the match, tune in to TNT Sports 1 HD (CH 527) and it’s also in 4K on TNT Sports Ultimate (CH 531). If you’re not a TNT Sports subscriber, go to CH 524 to catch the match at no extra cost. Coverage starts at 6pm.
