Gallagher Premiership Rugby: Harlequins v Exeter

Harlequins v Exeter: Gallagher Premiership Rugby

Friday 30 November, 7pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

It’s been a contrasting season for these two teams so far, with Quins struggling to find any consistency while the Chiefs are locked in a battle with Saracens at the very top of the Premiership table – thanks in no small way to the performances of flying Argentine winger Santiago Cordero. This encounter is likely to be a juicy one, packed with crunching tackles and a tornado of tries.

Gallagher Premiership Rugby: Saracens v Wasps

Saturday 1 December, 2.30pm, BT Sport 2/HD (CH 532/528)

At some point before the end of time, when the sun is absorbing everything in its path and only David Attenborough and the Queen remain, Saracens might lose a game. They’ve been at their imperious best so far this season, with backs Alex Goode and Alex Lewington in particularly fine form, and Wasps will be hoping to rein them in and close the gap to the top two when they go head-to-head at Allianz Park.

Scottish Premiership: Hearts v Rangers

Sunday 2 December, 11.30am, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

It’s been a funny old season in Scotland. After Hearts soared to the top of the table early on, the Glasgow duo of Celtic and Rangers have slowly chipped away at their lead. Steven Gerrard’s in-form Rangers will be looking to overcome Craig Levein’s injury-strewn team at Tynecastle and secure their hold on a top-two place.

Scottish League Cup Final: Celtic v Aberdeen

Brendan Rodgers Celtic

Sunday 2 December, 2.15pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

Since joining in 2016, Brendan Rodgers has literally won every domestic trophy he has competed in as Celtic manager. And that impeccable record could continue on Sunday, as Celtic once again face Aberdeen at Hampden Park in a repeat of the final from two seasons ago. Should Rodgers’ team wrap up his seventh successive major Scottish honour, the Hoops will be well on the way to completing an unprecedented “treble-treble”.

Gallagher Premiership Rugby: Bath v Sale

Sunday 2 December, 2.30pm, BT Sport 2/HD (CH 532/528)

We love a bath sale. Pedestal, recessed, even a jazzy freestanding, there’s no type of bath we don’t – oh, right, it’s a rugby match between Bath and Sale. Ahem. This looks set to be a thrilling match-up, since both sides have something to prove – Bath will be keen to show they can claim a place in Europe, while Sale look to silence any murmurings that relegation could be on the cards come April.

Premier League: Watford v Manchester City

Tuesday 4 December, 7.30pm, BT Sport 1/HD (CH 531/527)

In a cracker of a clash at Vicarage Road, Watford face a Manchester City side who, in the kind of form they’re in, could come up against the might of the entire Spartan army and probably still ease to a stylish 3-0 win. City have been good this season, to say the least – but Watford have also been mightily impressive at times, blowing teams away with fast, fluid football. Set a reminder for this one. It’s going to be a belter.
