The Autumn Nations Cup on Prime Video

Don’t miss the likes of England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland battling it out in this exciting new rugby tournament

By Virgin TV Edit

The Six Nations may have come to an end, but there’s still plenty of international rugby to sink your teeth into this November and December with the Autumn Nations Cup!

This brand new competition looks all set to be a cracker – and with live matches and regular highlights on Prime Video, you’ll be at the heart of the action every step of the way.

How does the Autumn Nations Cup work?

This tournament is made up of eight teams: England, Wales, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Georgia and Fiji. These nations are split into two groups of four, with each team playing everyone else in their group once.

England, Ireland, Wales and Georgia are in Group A, while Scotland, France, Italy and Fiji make up Group B.

Every team will qualify for the Finals Weekend, but who they play depends on where they finish in their group. For example, the winner of Group A will play the winner of Group B, the second team in Group A will play the second team in Group B and so on. The winner of the tournament will be decided by whoever wins the match between the two teams who finished top of their groups.

Who is part of Prime Video’s coverage?

Hosted by Gabby Logan and Mark Durden-Smith, Prime Video’s coverage of the competition is set to feature a host of familiar names from the world of rugby. Pundits include former England skipper Dylan Hartley, ex-British & Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton, plus Jamie Roberts, David Flatman, Bryan Habana and many more. Conor McNamara, Andrew Cotter, Jamie Lyall and Nick Heath are your commentators.
