Premier League football, F1’s latest high-speed thriller, golf from the American South and big-time boxing are all on the menu, but who are the magnificent men and women you should be keeping an eye out for when the drama starts?
We’ve picked out a handful of heroes who are primed and ready to do what they do best…
Lewis Hamilton

FORMULA 1 2018 AZERBAIJAN GRAND PRIX, Sunday 29 April, 1.10pm, Sky Sports F1®/HD (CH 516/506)
F1’s reigning world champion is ready to put his foot down as the new season heads to Baku’s stunning City Circuit. Last year’s thrill-fest in Azerbaijan saw Hamilton fail to get on the podium after a controversial crash with Sebastian Vettel, and fans expect a strong response from the British driver – and more drama – this time out. Don’t forget, Sky Sports is the only place where you can watch every practice, qualifying session and race live this season.
Mohamed Salah
Liverpool v Stoke City, Saturday 28 April, 11.30am, Sky Sports Premier League/HD (CH 512/502)
The Premier League’s top scorer coming up against the Premier League’s flimsiest defence? You don’t need psychic powers to see where this is heading. Salah will be licking his lips at the prospect of adding to his top-flight tally when the Reds host the Potters, and we wouldn’t blame any of the Stoke players if they called in sick before the match.

Katie Taylor

Katie Taylor v Victoria Noelia Bustos, Sunday 29 April, 2am, Sky Sports Action/HD (CH 517/507)
Eight pro fights. Eight wins. But is Ireland’s Katie Taylor about to find herself on cloud nine? Up next for the WBA lightweight champion is a massive showdown with IBF champion Victoria Noelia Bustos in New York. And with both titles on the line, it’s sure to be an unmissable night of boxing from the Big Apple. Our pulse is racing just thinking about it.
Harry Kane
Tottenham Hotspur v Watford, Monday 30 April, 8pm, Sky Sports Premier League/HD (CH 512/502)
Tottenham’s talismanic striker had better pull his socks up if he wants to end the season as the Premier League’s top marksman. A recent spell on the sidelines through injury saw Mo Salah overtake him in the goals department, but Kane can fill his boots against a Watford side that – despite their mid-table position – have one of the worst defensive records in the league.
Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson
Zurich Classic of New Orleans, from Thursday 26 April, 7.30pm, Sky Sports Golf/HD (CH 515/505)
It’s two superstars for the price of one at this PGA Tour event. Eighty teams of two will be competing for the top prize, and one pair that instantly jumps out is that containing two major winners – 2013 US Open champion Rose and 2016 Open Championship winner Stenson. Two of golf’s most consistent performers, the Englishman and the Swede will be among the frontrunners to claim the title in Louisiana.
Kevin De Bruyne

West Ham United v Manchester City, Sunday 29 April, 1pm, Sky Sports Premier League/HD (CH 512/502)
Whoever you support, it’s undeniable that witnessing Manchester City’s chief conductor in full flow has been one of the joys of the season. Defence-splitting passes? Bendy crosses that defy physics? Deadly finishing? De Bruyne has it all in his enviable locker, and he’ll be aiming to guide the champions to another victory when they go head to head with relegation-threatened West Ham.
