Henry Cejudo v Marlon Moraes

UFC fighters Henry Cejudo and Marlon Moraes

Not content with already holding the Flyweight Championship belt, Henry Cejudo could leave Chicago with the currently vacant Bantamweight title when he faces Marlon Moraes in UFC 238’s main event. It’s new territory for the much-celebrated Cejudo, who will be stepping up a division to challenge for the crown. Meanwhile, underdog Moraes is looking to land his first title in UFC. Not that he’s worried. “I’m ready, and it’s the biggest fight of my life,” says the Brazilian. “It’s time to become a champion.” Both men are blisteringly quick, so be prepared for a flurry of big hits from the off in this unpredictable showdown.

Valentina Shevchenko v Jessica Eye

What’s better than one title fight at a UFC event? Two, obviously! Co-headlining this weekend’s action in Chicago, Valentina Shevchenko will put her Women’s Flyweight belt on the line, defending her crown against the dangerous Jessica Eye. In Shevchenko you’ve got one of the great counter-attacking fighters currently plying their trade in UFC, but Eye’s lightning-quick style is sure to test the champ’s skills to the max. Watch out, because this is another encounter that’s going the be fast, furious and full of fiery exchanges.

Tony Ferguson v Donald Cerrone

There may not be a title on the line, but this clash between two of MMA’s fiercest competitors is the one fans are most excited about at UFC 238. After a spell away from the octagon, Tony Ferguson makes his long-awaited comeback in Chicago. “El Cucuy” last fought in October 2018, defeating Anthony Pettis for his eleventh win on the spin. Can this explosive athlete make it dazzling dozen this weekend? Donald “The Cowboy” Cerrone will hope not. Despite a patchy record since 2017 and a lack of gold around his waist, the tough-as-nails American is considered one of the sport’s most entertaining fighters. Bring it on.
