By Virgin TV Edit

We’ve all been schooled in how to spot common scam signs online – probably through compulsory online workplace training. Our vigilance has never been higher. But the flip side of our more cautious nature is that the people who are trying to infiltrate our computers are constantly finding new ways to try and break through our defenses.

But you don’t need to fight this battle alone. Help is at hand with Virgin Media Web Safe, which comes with all our broadband packages, absolutely free. Want to know more? Then read on.

What is Virgin Media Web Safe?

Web Safe works with any device connected to your home network, to block websites with viruses or malicious and unsuitable content. Virgin Media Internet Security works even when you’re out and about – keeping your devices protected even when you’re not connected to our network.

It’s easy to turn on. Just sign into My Virgin Media and change your settings. It’s that simple. That’s not all. As well as providing protection for all the devices on your home network 24/7, Web Safe is automatically updated, so that’s one less thing to worry about.

There’s also a useful reporting tool if there is a website you believe is safe but has been blocked or there is a site that can be accessed you believe should be blocked as part of a category. All you need to do is report it through My Virgin Media:
