Join Freddie, Jamie and a host of special guests, as they endear themselves to our European cousins…
A League Of Their Own: European Road Trip 2, Thursday 9 January, 9pm, Sky One/HD (CH 110/109). Also available for 30 days in Catch Up > Channels > Sky One
Europe, we’re sorry. Again. But this time, the reason for the apology is because Sky One’s A League Of Their Own is coming your way for a new European Road Trip, and we can only ask forgiveness in advance for the inevitable carnage.
After previous excursions to the continent and the USA, this new four-part spin-off will see Andrew Flintoff and Jamie Redknapp head to Spain, Germany and Switzerland to sample the culture, engage with the locals – and cause mucho bother in the process. Again, we’re sorry.
From cliff diving, skydiving, ice hockey and beach soccer... to the legendary Oktoberfest, flamenco dancing and Spain’s famous La Tomatina festival (it’s a massive food fight with tomatoes) this is one voyage that you don’t want to miss.
Joining Redknapp and Flintoff on their latest expedition across the continent will be series regular Romesh Ranganathan, plus comedians Alan Carr and Lee Mack, former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra, actor/comedian Tom Davis, TV presenter Maya Jama and a whole host of other familiar faces.
Having already trekked across Europe and the USA for three previous A League Of Their Own spin-offs, it’s fair to say the boys have caused more than their share of hilarious moments. Scroll down for some of the best bits…
