The Scottish Premiership is back!

Strap yourself in for the brand new season, exclusively live on Sky Sports Football

By Virgin TV Edit

The stage is set for the return of the Scottish Premiership – and the new campaign looks bigger and better than ever.

Sky Sports is the exclusive new home of Scotland’s top flight, with up to 48 matches showing live this season. Want to watch the drama on the go? Then you can follow every unmissable moment on the Sky Sports app, wherever there is 3G, 4G or WiFi.

History beckons for champions Celtic, who are going for an incredible tenth league title in a row. Both they and arch rivals Rangers have claimed nine consecutive crowns before, but can Neil Lennon’s side write themselves into the record books this term and become the first club to make it a tremendous ten?

Rangers and manager Steven Gerrard may have a thing or two to say about that. Despite finishing second last season, there’s a real sense that the ’Gers can mount a serious title challenge this time around and dethrone their nearest and not-so-dearest.

But this isn’t just about the Old Firm. With the likes of Aberdeen, Motherwell and new boys Dundee United up for the fight, it’s shaping up to be a season to remember.

The action kicks off live on Sky Sports on Saturday 1 August when Rangers travel to Aberdeen, while Celtic start the defence of their title the following day at home to Hamilton Academicals.

These two fixtures are part of a sizzling opening month of Scottish Premiership football on Virgin TV. Take a look at all of the matches coming your way below – and get ready for an epic season of drama…
