You’ve got 8 kids channels this October, on us

You’ve got some of our most popular kids channels at no extra cost until Halloween. No tricks, only treats

By Virgin TV Edit

It might feel like only yesterday that the kids were heading back to school. But we’re here to tell you, it’s already October and half-term is on its way. So we’re giving you a little something extra this month to keep the kids entertained, because you can now access eight kids TV channels on Virgin Media and in Box Sets – at no extra cost.

In addition to the channels you already have as part of your Virgin TV package, from Monday 2 October until Tuesday 31 October, you’ll now find Sky Kids, Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Nickelodeon, Nicktoons, Nick Jr. and Nick Jr. Too – all available to watch from now until the end of October (including half-term), on us. From pre-school kids to teens, there’s something for all ages.

October means Halloween, which means the return of Scoobtober – a whole month of back-to-back Scooby-Doo episodes and movies on Boomerang. Teen Titans Go! fans are also well served on Cartoon Network, with new episodes featuring the hilarious young heroes all month, plus a half-term channel takeover. Cartoon Network is also where you’ll find exciting adventures in The Heroic Quest Of The Valiant Prince Ivandoe.

Over on Nickelodeon, there are spooky shenanigans with two new live action movies in A Really Haunted Loud House and Monster High 2, as well as new episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants and The Loud House. On Sky Kids, don’t miss animated series MC Grammar: Rap Tales, featuring contemporary versions of classic fairy tales like “Jack And The Beat-stalk” and “Goldi-rocks”. Plus, Pip And Posy Let’s Learn is based on books by Gruffalo illustrator Axel Scheffler and explores a range of topics from the early years curriculum.

Speaking of younger fans, there are new episodes of Fireman Sam during a half-term takeover on Cartoonito, and don’t miss brand new PAW Patrol – as the pups head for the jungle – and The Adventures Of Paddington on Nick Jr.

And as well as these channels, we’re also unlocking 100s of episodes of their most popular shows in Box Sets, such as Boomerang’s Mr Bean: The Animated Series and Cartoon Network’s Clarence, so you can watch them whenever you want, also at no extra cost.

You don’t need to do anything. It will all happen automatically through the magic of your TV box. Read on to find out more about these channels and where you can find them.
