Where to watch the man of the Mo-ment

Fresh from a BAFTA win, The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan returns for series 3 – plus, where to watch more Mo

By Laura Rutkowski, Senior Staff Writer

Mo Gilligan is on a roll. The comedian has won a BAFTA every year since 2020. At this year’s 2022 Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards, he took home the Comedy Entertainment Programme Award for The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan. The golden gong now sits rather nicely next to 2020’s Entertainment Performance Award for the same show and 2021’s Comedy Entertainment Programme Award for The Big Narstie Show

Prepare to see a lot more of Mo, who has your Friday night entertainment sorted with banter, sketches and music in The Lateish Show With Mo Gilligan. To kick off the third series, he’s joined by actor and musician Ashley Walters (Top Boy), comedian Judi Love and dancehall legend Sean Paul. Mo’s own trademark characters will also make an appearance, of course.

Games include Nursery Grimes, where guests must sing a nursery rhyme in the style of a famous track, and Reply or Deny, where two audience members ask the celebs a question – one they choose to reply to and one they deny.

As for Mo’s growing awards collection, he’s gonna need somewhere to put them all, but IKEA hit him up after the Virgin Media BAFTA TV Awards and has already got him covered…
