Watch your back as Wilderness arrives on Prime Video

Jenna Coleman is out for revenge in this brand new twisty thriller from Prime Video

By Charlotte Briggs, Staff Writer

Most couples dream of living out their “happily ever after” till death do they part. And Liz (Jenna Coleman, Victoria) and Will (Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Mr Malcolm’s List) are no exception. Or so we’re led to believe.

Inspired by B E Jones’ novel of the same name, Wilderness weaves a twisty tale as a dream road trip quickly turns into a living nightmare. On the surface, British couple Liz and Will have the perfect life together. But beneath the façade of their rock-solid marriage lies layers of deceit, as Liz discovers her husband has been having an affair with a colleague.

In an attempt to reconcile, the pair embark on an epic American road trip, travelling through famous national parks before ending with a wild weekend in Las Vegas. However, the rugged, isolated landscapes of the Grand Canyon and Yosemite provide a perfect opportunity for Liz to get revenge.

If the spine-tingling trailer isn’t enough to hook you in, then perhaps the ensemble cast will. Along with Coleman and Jackson-Cohen, other stars include Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars) and Eric Balfour (The Texas Chainsaw Massacre), who play a young couple that are swept into Liz’s cat-and-mouse scheming. Marsha Stephanie Blake (Orange Is The New Black), Claire Rushbrook (My Mad Fat Diary) and Vanessa Walsh (Fort Salem) are also among the cast.
