FAQs
362Mbps is the average download speed of M350 Fibre Broadband (that’s 5x faster than the UK’s average speed). Uploads average speeds of 36Mbps.
The benefit of gaming on M350 Fibre Broadband, compared to our M125 or M250 speeds, is that it offers:
- Higher bandwidth – So the gamer’s experience is less likely to be affected when several devices are online, at the same time.
- Faster uploads – Good for streaming and sharing live gameplay, smoothly, on platforms like Twitch.
M350 is a fantastic broadband speed! At Virgin Media, our average download speeds with the M350 package are a huge 362Mbps, and our average upload speeds are 36Mbps. That’s more than enough for a large household where multiple people are streaming, gaming and more.
Our M350 broadband package is ultrafast. Our average download speeds are 362Mbps and average upload speeds are 36Mbps, making it great for large households.
350Mbps is more than enough for streaming Netflix. The minimum download speed for Netflix is 3Mbps for standard definition, 5Mbps for high definition and 25 Mbps for 4k – so you’ll have plenty of bandwidth with 350Mbps.
350Mbps is not just fast, we consider it to be ultrafast. Anything over 100Mbps is considered fast, and our M350 broadband is perfect for households that have over 10 devices connected to the internet at the same time.
Both M250 and M350 are ultrafast speeds. To help you decide which is the best choice for you and your household, have a think of how many devices are connected to the internet at the same time (phones, laptops, smart TVs, smart speakers etc) and think about what you do on them. If multiple people are gaming or streaming in ultra-HD at the same time, then a faster speed is always going to be better and provide you with the best service.
Our M350 broadband package is fantastic for online gaming, even if there’s more than one person gaming at the same time.
Our M350 broadband is an ultrafast and reliable connection. This means it can easily support over 10 connected devices at once. Even if they are all streaming in ultra-HD, gaming and on a Zoom call, at the same time.
It sure is! All of our broadband packages, including M350 broadband are completely unlimited which means that you can download and upload as much as you like without any worry of traffic management or throttling.
