Darklands, coming Monday 25 November
The Dublin-set Darklands is a hard-hitting drama that takes place amid a brutal war between rival drug gangs, all vying for control of the same turf. And this brand new six-part series – another Virgin TV Original for 2019 – will get its UK premiere in stunningly crisp ultra high definition, and completely free of ads, on the Virgin TV Ultra HD channel.
Gripping and uncompromising, the series tells the story of Damien Dunne (Dane Whyte O’Hara), a 16-year-old who dreams of becoming a pro mixed martial arts fighter and escaping his troubled neighbourhood. But when his reckless older brother goes missing, Damien is pulled into a dangerous world – and into a fight he never expected.
This unmissable new series is perfect for fans of shows like Peaky Blinders, Skins, This Is England and Blood.
Virgin Media customers with a V6 box on the Maxit or Full House TV package will be able to watch Darklands exclusively from 9pm on Monday 25 November on Virgin TV Ultra HD (CH 999). If you miss out, or if you don’t have access to Virgin TV Ultra HD, you’ll be able to watch in On Demand.
