Refresh TCP/IP in Windows Vista

If you are an advanced user comfortable with using Windows Vista DOS commands, you can refresh your computer’s TCP/IP component using the netsh command. TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) is used to send data between computers, however it can become damaged.

To run this utility:

  1. Click on Start and select Run.
  2. In the Run window, type cmd and click OK
  3. Type in the command netsh interface reset all

If you still can't connect, contact Virgin Media technical support.
