If you are an advanced user comfortable with using Windows Vista DOS commands, you can refresh your computer’s TCP/IP component using the netsh command. TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol) is used to send data between computers, however it can become damaged.
To run this utility:
- Click on Start and select Run.
- In the Run window, type cmd and click OK
- Type in the command netsh interface reset all
